4. Technical Interview: Finalists will participate in a technical interview to assess their proficiency and compatibility with our team when a project staffing plan is made.

The quest:

• Play a UX design role across a portfolio of world class games for diverse platforms and genres
• Create empathy maps, player journeys, feature flows, wireframes, click-through prototypes, and more
• Use UX insights to create delightful player experiences through careful crafting of micro-interactions
• Leverage heuristics and expert knowledge to identify and resolve usability issues
• Write actionable, engaging, and intuitive microcopy
• Use iteration, combined with qualitative and quantitative player data, to refine your work
• Actively play games and engage with player communities
• Be a champion for UX interaction design by sharing knowledge and mentoring

The skills:

• 3+ years of experience as a UX designer in the gaming field
• Post-secondary degree or certificate in UX design, or equivalent background
• Expert knowledge of interaction design fundamentals
• Hands on experience applying user centered design process, usability heuristics, and gestalt principles
• Ability to create complex feature flows and click-through wireframes prototypes
• Proficient English with outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Collaborative spirit and love of teamwork
• Solid UI and graphic design skills are a plus
• Experience in the gaming industry is a plus
