Patient Services Representative - Dental Office
Philadelphia, PA | Full-Time | $20-$22/hour | Excellent Benefits
Do you love helping people and creating a positive patient experience? We're seeking an experienced Patient Services Representative to join a busy, patient-focused dental practice in Philadelphia. What You'll Do
  • Welcome patients with professionalism and exceptional customer service.
  • Answer multi-line phones and schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments.
  • Verify dental insurance benefits and obtain necessary authorizations.
  • Register new patients and accurately maintain electronic patient records.
  • Collect copays and outstanding balances while explaining insurance coverage and treatment costs.
  • Coordinate patient flow to ensure providers stay on schedule.
  • Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
  • Provide administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day office operations.
What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 3+ years of recent dental front desk, patient services, or dental scheduling experience.
  • Working knowledge of dental terminology and dental practice management software.
  • Experience with insurance verification, patient registration, scheduling, and payment collection.
  • Strong communication, customer service, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic scheduling systems.
  • Positive, dependable, and team-oriented attitude.
