Position Overview We are seeking an Inpatient Adult/General Psychiatrist to provide high-quality psychiatric care in a structured inpatient setting in Austin, TX. This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity with a consistent weekday schedule and flexible optional coverage. Clinical Responsibilities

Manage a daily caseload of approximately 15-20 patients (including 3-5 new admissions)
Perform initial psychiatric evaluations
Conduct follow-up visits and medication management
Complete patient discharges and documentation
Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team planning

Patient Population

Primarily adult inpatient population

Additional Opportunities

Optional Nurse Practitioner (NP) supervision with additional stipend

Requirements

Board Eligible or Board Certified Psychiatrist
Active, unrestricted medical license

Compensation

Fee-for-service model (1099)
