Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for an Emergency Department night shift position in Santa Fe, NM, requiring active NM or compact RN licensure and TNCC certification.

Details

  • Work setting is a hospital Emergency Care Center (ECC)
  • Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • 13-week contract
  • Every other weekend required
  • No on-call requirement
  • Floating to other units required

Requirements

  • Active NM RN license or current compact state license
  • Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
  • Current TNCC certification required
  • CPI or equivalent certification preferred
  • Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
  • Strong assessment, clinical decision-making, and patient communication skills

Additional Information

  • Responsibilities include initial and ongoing patient assessment, individualized care planning, intervention implementation, and discharge planning
  • Performs Point of Care testing procedures
  • Provides age-appropriate, patient- and family-centered care
  • Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are subject to a radius rule — contact the recruiter for eligibility details
  • 2 professional references required for consideration
