- JOB RELATIONSHIPS
- Supervises RNs and other Patient Care Services Employees. Responsible to Director of Radiology.
- DEFINITION OF POSITION
- The Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse is responsible for planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating the nursing care of patients undergoing diagnostic and invasive procedures in radiology and other ancillary areas of the hospital.
- QUALIFICATIONS
- Professional
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina.
- Minimum 2 years critical care CCU or ED nursing experience.
- Current ACLS certifications or obtained within 6 months of employment.
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- Pediatric experience preferred.
- Competency trained in conscious sedation.
