Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Hawaii, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ER experience and an active HI RN license by start date.

Details

• Emergency Department in a hospital setting
• 28-bed ED with 4 trauma bays, 2 behavioral health rooms, and 22 cardiac monitor rooms
• Fast-paced environment with high patient turnover
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours/week), following the first week of orientation
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active HI RN license required by start of assignment
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS

Additional Information

• All travelers must report to Employee Health 48–72 hours prior to the start of assignment; this appointment is held at Hilo Employee Health and attendance is mandatory
• Plan to arrive in Hawaii the Thursday before a Monday start date to attend the Employee Health appointment on Friday morning
• Team-oriented work environment
