Position: High School Personal Finance Teacher (Full-Time)
Location: Phoenixville, PA
Rate: $50/hour
Schedule
- Full-time position
- Standard school-day schedule (specific hours set by the school)
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Personal Finance courses to high school students
- Develop effective lesson plans and instructional materials aligned with school curriculum and standards
- Maintain high academic and behavioral expectations
- Assess student progress and provide meaningful, timely feedback
- Participate in professional development, staff meetings, and school events
- Build a positive, inclusive, and collaborative classroom environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Finance, Economics, or related field
- Valid secondary teaching certification (or eligibility), preferred
- Prior experience teaching high school students, strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of personal finance topics such as budgeting, saving, investing, credit, and financial planning
- Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills
- Deep commitment to helping students develop practical, lifelong financial skills
