They are currently looking for Maintenance Mechanics on all three of there shifts in Middletown, NY. The Maintenance Manager is prior Military also and looking to add talent!
This organization is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to support the safe and reliable operation of plant equipment and facility systems. This hands-on role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and industrial production equipment to maximize uptime and support efficient plant operations.
This role is responsible for performing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on plant equipment to ensure safe and reliable operations. Duties include troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, conveyor, pump, gearbox, and other rotating equipment issues, inspecting machinery to identify potential failures, and replacing components such as bearings, motors, belts, chains, valves, and couplings. The position also supports equipment installations and process improvements, reads and interprets technical drawings and schematics, and follows all safety, lockout/tagout (LOTO), confined space, and environmental procedures while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
This is lower cost of living area in New York. Compensation Is $40-48/hr plus overtime, benefits and 401k. Should easily make 90-110k year one. They have day shift, swing and night shifts available. Must be comfortable wearing protective safety uniform while working. Looking for Strong Mechanical candidates and basic electrical is a plus. You will be doing OJT for roughly 6 months. Job 59130
