Leverages hands‑on expertise with Fanuc and Haas controls to establish accurate work offsets, load and run programs, and continuously monitor processes to improve throughput and reduce scrap. Brings a strong foundation in blueprint reading and GD&T, disciplined use of inspection tools and gaging, and a mindset aligned with continuous improvement. Collaborative team contributor who adapts quickly to changing priorities and supports delivery commitments. This role works a 9/80 schedule. Hours during training will be on 1st shift (7:00 AM to 4:30 PM) until fully trained. Once trained, this role will move to working 2nd shift (3:30 PM to 12:30 AM). Start time may flex within 1 hour at Manager discretion.Job ResponsibilitiesPerform set‑ups on a variety of CNC equipment with a general knowledge of Fanuc and Haas controlsUtilize knowledge of CNC controls to set zero reference points, tool offsets, and load programsRun production, monitoring parts to ensure accurate high‑quality parts are made safely and efficientlyUtilize the data collection system to accurately record production activities including time spent, quantity produced, and any rejected partsExecute programming tasksWork with CNC lathes, and 3D modeling software (SolidWorks)Work with blueprints and drawings, and utilize understanding of GD&T as well as work from verbal instructionsUtilize measuring equipment and gages to ensure produced part meets specificationUtilize understanding of safety, quality and continuous improvement expectations in a manufacturing environmentQualificationsHigh school diploma or GEDMinimum of 5 years of experience in specialty area such as welding and/or tool makingProgramming knowledge (preferred)Experience with CNC lathes (preferred)Experience using 3D modeling software (SolidWorks, etc.) (preferred)Ability to read and understand blueprints and drawingsBasic understanding of GD&T, as well as ability to work via verbal instructionsAbility to use measuring equipment and gages to ensure produced part meets specificationUnderstanding of safety, quality, and continuous improvement expectations in a manufacturing environmentAbility to work 1st shift while training (7:00 AM to 4:30 PM), then once trained, work 2nd shift (3:30 PM to 12:30 AM)Willingness to work overtime to meet production demandsU.S. Citizenship required.
