Certification Details BLS (CPR) NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) AWHONN EFM Advanced or Intermediate Job Details Provides care to patient and family progressing towards individualized goals. Performs nursing process through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of safe, therapeutic, efficient care. Promotes quality outcomes. Collaborates or seeks additional resources for complex, new/unusual, or high-risk clinical situations. Serves as patient and family advocate ensuring excellent and satisfying care. Assesses patient and family needs, prioritizes, and documents assessment data. Develops and implements individualized, age/culturally appropriate plans of care. Evaluates patient and family progress towards goals and adjusts interventions as needed. Identifies and addresses patient/family educational needs with individualized plans. Recognizes communication barriers and seeks interdisciplinary expertise. Delegates care within scope of practice to healthcare team members. Coordinates and communicates with healthcare team to impact patient/family well-being and expedite progress. Job Requirements CA RN license required. At least three years recent RN experience in RN role. At least two years recent RN experience in specialty area (Labor & Delivery). Schedule Information 12-hour night shifts. 36 hours per week. Unit Specific Information Specialty: Labor & Delivery (L&D) Additional Details Licensure: CA RN license. Certifications required: CPR, NRP, AWHONN EFM Advanced or Intermediate (required).
