Our client, a 3rd-generation management consulting firm, is working on a project for their client - a global financial institution operating in a highly regulated environment and investing in modern cloud governance to strengthen security, compliance, and enterprise risk visibility across AWS and Azure. They are now looking to add to their team.

Large-scale application migration factory focused on modernizing hundreds or thousands of legacy Sybase database applications to AWS modern database platforms. This initiative involves developing custom migration frameworks, automating database conversions, and supporting application teams through the migration process.

Duties to be performed:

• Design and develop custom migration frameworks for DB2 to AWS database migrations
• Assess and analyze DB2 database schemas, stored procedures, and dependencies
• Execute database migrations from DB2 to AWS modern database platforms
• Provide technical guidance and support to application teams during migration
• Automate migration processes and develop reusable migration patterns
• Perform testing and validation of migrated databases and applications
• Document migration procedures, best practices, and lessons learned
