Network Systems Engineer

As a Network Systems Engineer on our team, you'll have the chance to shape Navy missions by leading engineering efforts to develop, operate, and maintain complex technology systems using engineering principles, theories, and concepts. In this role, you'll closely impact military missions by championing cybersecurity, discovering cyber risks, and providing hands-on support to critical mission areas. With mentoring, challenging hands-on problem-solving, and opportunities to learn new tools and skills, we focus on growing as a team to make the best solutions for our customers.

What You'll Work On:

  • Develop relationships quickly and easily with other teams, communicating the complexities of security with a wide variety of audiences, including senior management.
  • Implement infrastructure and cyber security controls relating to identity management for zero trust.

Join us. The world can't wait. You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience with cybersecurity and Information Technology (IT) systems for a DoD or government agency
  • 5+ years of experience with SSH, MFA, PKI, and I CAM
  • Experience with Windows, Linux, Cisco ISE, LDAP, Active Directory, RADIUS, VMWare vCenter, ESXi, Radiant Logic, or Ping
  • Experience in interacting directly with clients, managers, stakeholders, and approving authorities to identify problems, analyze data, generate solutions, and communicate results
  • Knowledge of computer networking concepts, protocols, and security methodologies
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED
  • DoD 8140 Certification

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with CyberArk
  • Experience providing network, system administration, or computer operations support
  • Bachelor's degree

Compensation at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,900.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD).
