Business Systems Analyst

Outline of the Role: Looking to hire a dynamic yet energetic Business Systems Analyst to work closely with internal technical teams and different facets of the Global Product and Technology organizationspecifically within the Planning/Replenishment/Allocation area. This individual will provide on-going analytical, and testing supports that meet the project needs.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide written business requirements documents (BRD) inclusive of business, functional, non-functional, and user requirements that are actionable by development teams.
• Uses structured tools for analysis and presentation of concepts and models to enhance the BRD.
• Define and execute test plan & scripts.
• Develop, maintain and deliver training to Product Management on both application functionality and integrations.
• Ability to develop black box, positive and negative scenarios to comprehensively test a feature based upon requirements, functional and technical specification documents.
• Work with external consultants, internal and external developers throughout the development and configuration cycles to ensure systems and modification meet business needs.
• Co-ordinate and support software releases and post deployment validations with both the business and internal/external technical teams.
• Support production issues as relate to application functionality and integrations.
• Support day to day reporting needs where required.
• Any other duties as needed to help drive our strategic initiatives, fulfil our mission, and support our organization values.

Qualifications, Skills, Experience and Personal Requirements:

• Excellent spoken and written communication skills (verbal and non-verbal).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• 2-3 years of proven software testing experience including Test Case Development and Execution (through a Business Systems lens).
• Proven ability to follow through with defect lifecycle to satisfy the acceptance criteria.
• Ability to manage and complete multiple tasks within tight deadlines.
• Working Experience with cloud-native technologies.
• Desired: Working experience with cloud platforms namely AWS and Azure.
• Desired: Familiarity with DevOps practices like Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment.
• Desired: Working experience with Planning, Replenishment and/or Allocation systems.
• Desired: Experience with Kafka.
