- Administer prescribed doses of radiation therapy to patients with cancer and other diseases.
- Operate linear accelerators and other radiation therapy equipment safely and accurately.
- Review and verify treatment plans created by radiation oncologists and medical physicists.
- Monitor patients during treatment and observe for any adverse reactions or side effects.
- Maintain accurate treatment records, documenting radiation doses, patient responses, and any complications.
- Perform quality assurance checks on equipment and report any malfunctions for prompt maintenance.
- NM License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiation Therapy (ARRT-RT(T) required.
- Pay: $2,096.03 - $2,160.86 / week
- Location: Las Cruces, NM
- Assignment Length: 13
- Shift: Day - up to 40.00 hours per week
- Setting: Hospital
