ProKatchers is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in State College, Pennsylvania. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel INIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: Completion of an accredited registered nurse program required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Effectively functions as a team member and as a liaison between patient and staff. Supports and encourages harmonious communication skills. Job requires strong verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills. Communicates in highly professional manner at all times. Demonstrates a high level of mental and emotional tolerance and even temperament when dealing with ill people; uses tact, sensitivity, sound judgment and a professional attitude when relating with patients, families, and co-workers at all times. License/Certification/Registration: Current Pennsylvania RN licensure. Meets the American Heart Association's standards for Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) and renews BLS every two years. Holds the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification and renews NRP every two years. Meets the American Heart Association's standards for Healthcare Provider Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) renews ACLS every two years. ProKatchers Job ID 297203.
