You will be part of a collaborative, high-performing engineering team within Invesco Technology that is focused on transforming client communications through the implementation of a modern Vermillion Reporting Services platform. The team partners closely with business stakeholders to deliver scalable, cloud-based solutions that enhance how Invesco engages with clients, while driving the transition away from legacy systems. The primary role of this position will be to lead the Invesco technology team's effort to implement a new client communications solution on the Vermillion Reporting Services platform. The vision is to replace the existing platform with Vermillion and transition current communications to ultimately decommission the existing platform. The dream is to enable the business to quickly create rich communications that deliver Invesco's purpose to our clients. Invesco technology is creating strategic advantage by being the best. Expertise in: Java, Webservices, Spring, Mulesoft, AWSExperience / understanding development process in the DevOps environment (including exposure to CI/CD tools such a Jenkins, source code management tools - e.g. GIT)Excellent problem-solving skillsGood understanding of software engineering concepts and practicesExperience in developing and consuming REST or GraphQL APIsDebugging skills with the ability to ask for helpConsume libraries, tools, and APIs from other teams to achieve the desired functionalityTechnical team leadership experience.Experience in Scaled Agile framework is preferredA Bachelor's Degree in IT related program is preferred and a minimum of 5 years of related experience.
