Lead Full-Stack Web Developer

Pay Range: $70hr - $75hr

The Lead Full-Stack Web Developer will serve as the teams primary technical specialist and full-stack developer. This role involves designing, building, and maintaining modern digital services while collaborating closely with UX designers, stakeholders, and agency partners. The position emphasizes modern development practices, security, accessibility, and user-centered design.

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Strong experience building full-stack web applications.
  • Ability to ensure applications comply with cybersecurity policies and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of equity, inclusiveness, and user-centered technology design.
  • Hands-on experience with Drupal development.

Experience:

  • Five or more years of experience building web applications, including front-end and back-end design, testing, and deployment.
  • Experience working closely with UI/UX designers.
  • Experience setting up and using analytics tools for digital products.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and communicate solution architecture, including new technologies and integrations with existing systems.
  • Collaborate with UX designers to implement intuitive front-end solutions for end users.
  • Serve as the teams full-stack web developer, building in-house digital services using modern tools and approaches.
  • Develop and implement maintenance and support plans for internally developed products and services.
  • Ensure all work complies with established application security controls and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Review and evaluate vendor deliverables, including code quality, estimates, testing, and acceptance criteria.
  • Promote modern software development practices such as DevOps, agile methodologies, CI/CD, security, testing, and automation.
  • Build trust and effective partnerships by working closely with internal and external stakeholders.

Should Have:

  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguous situations and adapting to changing requirements.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on outcomes rather than specific technologies.
  • Experience contributing to data analysis, analytics, or visualization initiatives.

Skills:

  • Full-stack web development.
  • Drupal development.
  • Java, JavaScript, CSS, and related web technologies.
  • Agile development and user-centered design practices.
  • Cloud platforms and modern deployment approaches.
  • Automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Google Analytics or similar analytics tools.
  • Python and SQL (preferred).

Qualification And Education:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
