Scrum Master

Location: Washington, DC (100% Remote)

Duration: 12+ months

Looking for the candidate who is local to DMV Area

Hybrid role... They go into office once in a while. Preference for local but will consider 100% remote candidates if they are strong.

Needs to have some sort of relevant certification

Will support Intake/Enrollment team 7 Devs, testers and product team

Will perform all scrum ceremonies. Moving into SAFe environment. Currently follow Kanban and moving into Scrum... Ideally wants someone who has Kanban and scrum experience in SAFe environment.

Main things: Not just conducting ceremonies... Needs to be able to get involved with teams and handle any impediments they might be facing. Needs to have a track record of supporting delivery teams: Devs, Testers, Analysts, etc... Being a liaison between product owner and teams.

Scrum Master performs all agile ceremonies, makes sure teams are successfully getting requirements from the Product team, and if needed will work with Project Manager. Basically a liaison between all.

Will be on two projects (Robotics and OnBase) supporting one team.

Coaching is done by a separate group. Teams are already in Kanban but teams will be moving to scrum soon so may need some coaching type of assistance then but not looking for a coach

Good communication skills and knowledge of scrum and kanban for at least 2 years is the sweet spot given the NTE.
