Provide instrument, controls, and electrical systems engineering support required to maintain all aspects of site instrumentation, controls, and electrical systems. Provide similar function in support of construction projects.

Primary Duties /Responsibilities:

• Lead electrical and instrumentation projects and/or maintenance work to ensure compliance with the national electrical code and site permits
• Participate in the development of project design concepts and criteria
• Provide and modify instrument and electrical drawings as needed
• Write and/or modify programs used by site programmable logic controllers, programmable drives, human machine interfaces, and distributive control systems
• Prepare electrical and instrumentation estimates for projects
• Act as a project manager or proposal manager on small, electrical and instrumentation projects
• Monitor project progress for technical accuracy and adherence to schedule and budget
• Represent respective projects at meetings and conferences
• Provide technical support for the facility's instrument and electrical maintenance department

Education / Experience / Background:

• 3 - 5 years of experience in a similar position

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

• Working knowledge of various PLC and computer software packages
• Fundamental understanding of the process safety management (PSM) standard is a plus
