Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Case Management Discipline: RN Start Date: 07/20/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview Shift: Days, 5x8hrs Hours: 40 hrs/wk Start Date: Jul 20, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced Pediatric Case Manager RN for an acute hospital position in Alaska requiring an active AK RN license, Epic proficiency, and a minimum of 2 years of experience. Details Works in the Case Management unit of a 407-bed Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma, acute care hospital Pediatric patient population Day shift, 5x8-hour schedule with shift start times ranging from 0700–0830 Every other weekend required, or 4 weekend days per 4-week schedule Floating required between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination No on-call responsibilities Block scheduling is not available Charting system: Epic (required) Scrubs are provided by the facility Free on-site parking available Requirements Active Alaska RN license currently in hand is required Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Pediatric nursing experience required Acute care hospital experience required Epic EMR experience required Accredited Case Manager (ACM) certification preferred At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting Full SSN and DOB required for consideration Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Former permanent employees of the facility must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler Local candidates are not accepted; candidate's permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility RTO is limited to one request of 5 days or fewer per 13-week assignment; no holiday RTO This is a Magnet facility and a U.S. News & World Report Best Hospital in Alaska American Traveler Job ID P-720107.
