Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel Surgical Technologist for a travel job in Portland, Maine. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Surgical Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 07/27/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: The organization is seeking a Surgical Technician (Certified Surgical Technologist - CST) to work in the Operating Room at their facility located in Portland, Maine. This position requires candidates to possess vascular experience and robotics experience. The role involves working in a fast-paced surgical environment, with candidates expected to bring their license on the first day of employment. Job Details: Specialty: Operating Room (ORT) Location: Portland, Maine Shift: 12-hour shifts, either from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Schedule: Minimum of 36 hours per week Number of Openings: 1 Required Qualifications: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification, at least 2 years of experience, vascular experience, robotics experience, familiarity with Epic Electronic Medical Record system, and Maine local or willing to obtain licensure. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with trauma (Level 1), open vascular procedures, and other specialty surgical experience such as neuro or orthopedic trauma. Additional Information: The position involves working in an operating room with a patient ratio of 1:1. The team utilizes equipment such as Storz, Stryker, Olympus, and an intuitive robotic system. The role includes night and weekend shifts, with one overnight call (11 PM to 7 AM) for trauma. Call may be scheduled based on specialty team guidelines (Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular, Neuro, Orthopedic). Attire required is hospital-issued teal scrubs.
