Senior General Manager

A private equity backed commercial contractor is looking to add a senior General Manager in the HVAC, Controls, Retrofit, and Energy space to their team in Washington DC metro market. Relocation assistance available.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • $50MM+ P&L responsibility
  • Turnkey project leadership
  • Responsible for oversight of both sales and operations for the Baltimore/DC metro area business unit to achieve personnel and company revenue growth goals
  • Will work with all aspects of the organization to ensure satisfactory job completion as well as revenue goals
  • Must work effectively with internal stakeholders, ownership team, clients, strategic partners, and the functional groups within company
  • Consistently demonstrate professional credibility, loyalty, trust and commitment by modeling the company values

Education Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent sales/management experience necessary
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the MS Office suite
  • MBA Preferred

Experience Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Requires experience with mechanical/controls service and maintenance projects, P&L Management, and a proven ability to grow an already successful mechanical service business
  • Must have sales leadership experience at the owner direct level
  • Must have a "hunter" mentality to grow the location
  • Strong communication skills
  • Exceptional skills in relationship management, communication, and problem solving

Benefits Offered:

  • Base salary target 150 175k+ and Bonus based on success of territory (flexible for the right person)
