Senior Program Manager

Odyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Program Manager providing support to the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center/ISR SOF (AFLCMC/HB). This position supports the E7 program office, focusing on the acquisition documentation required for a new major acquisition program entering the major milestone decision process. Responsibilities duties include, but not limited to:

  • Acquisition and Program Support
  • Contract Execution and Oversight
  • Program Health Analysis
  • Documentation and Reporting
  • Risk Management
  • Source Selection and Contract Administration
  • Mission Planning and Operational Support
  • Lifecycle Logistics and Sustainment
  • Policy and Process Improvement
  • Stakeholder Engagement

Qualifications Citizenship: Must be a US citizen Clearance: Must have an Active Secret Clearance Minimum Required Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree, and minimum of 12 years of experience, including at least 5 years supporting DoD programs, OR 15 years of experience, including at least 8 years supporting DoD programs.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of principles, policies and practices of systems acquisition and program management
  • Possess knowledge of qualitative and quantitative techniques for gathering, analyzing, and measuring the effectiveness, efficiency and productivity of acquisition programs
  • Possesses the ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing, providing quality acquisition and program documentation including but not limited to briefings, documents, and plans.

Preferred Qualifications: The candidate should possess strong PM skills to include all components of cost, schedule and performance. Experience in Air Worthiness is a plus, as well as experience with Aircraft requirements. Milestone experience with Major Acquisition programs will be a significant factor. Acquisition reporting skills and documentation, both writing and reviewing, will be a significant part of this job. Education: Master's degree, and minimum of 10 years of experience, including at least 5 years supporting DoD programs
