Job Title

Oversee daily operations of the department, ensuring smooth workflows and resource allocation. Supervise office staff, coordinate schedules, and manage department projects. Ensure work schedules are optimized to maximize productivity. Allocate resources effectively based on departmental needs. Regularly review and oversee reports for the department. Assist in the creation, adjustment, and maintenance of spreadsheets for department needs. Improved data accuracy and helped streamline reporting processes. Clinical experience with direct patient care in ambulatory setting.

Qualifications

Work requires the knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree and three to five years of work related experience. Completion of department specific certification of BLS (Basic Life Support) required at time of hire or within 1 year. Requires analytical skills with the ability to exercise sound judgment, attention to detail and problem resolution. Must possess strong customer service, communication, organizational & interpersonal skills. Minimum experience as Certified Medical Assistant. Effective January 2019, St. Joseph's Health requires all employee certifications for Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) to be granted through the American Heart Association.
