Nursing Director, Fetal Care and Surgery Center | Boston Childrens Hospital
Department Summary: Our extensive experience in fetal care has shown that the sooner we can accurately diagnose a fetal anomaly, the better the chances of survival and a higher quality of life. That's why, in addition to our focus on diagnosing, treating, and caring for pregnancies with high-risk fetal conditions, we're equally committed to cutting-edge research to enhance fetal and newborn medicine. Our multidisciplinary approach means that you'll receive a comprehensive care plan built around constant communication with you and your primary obstetrics team and access to a range of diagnostics, interventions and therapies, genetic testing and counseling, and other services. Key Responsibilities:
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week
Minimum Qualifications Education: MSN required
Experience: Minimum of 8 years of RN experience with at least 5 years of progressive nursing leadership in a supervisory or nurse leader role. (Surgical, Obstetric, or PICU/NICU)
Excellent leadership, team building and collaboration skills.
Analytical skills to resolve highly complex problems requiring the application of clinical, scientific or technical principles, theories, and concepts and in-depth, cross-functional experienced-based knowledge.
Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) to effectively collaborate and problem solve
Licensure/Certifications: Current MA license as a Registered Nurse.
