Software Architect

Location: Greenwood Village, Colorado 80111 Hybrid 3 days onsite and 2 days remote

Duration: 3 months 12+ months contract to hire

Job Overview

The architect would be working with teams to create proposals, provide SME input on Authentication and Authorization standards and flows, ie OAuth and OIDC protocols, and provide detailed architecture and design input to platform-level SDK for authorization.

Prefer heavy dev experience with Security Mindset over Security first experience.

Translates user requirements into design for new software or extensive software revisions.

Creates high-level architectural specifications, while ensuring feasibility, functionality, and integration with existing systems and platforms.

Provides expertise on cross-application implications.

Approves business requirements, estimation, functional specifications, testing strategy and other activities to ensure architectural alignment.

Works closely with stakeholders to identify and negotiate opportunities to apply architecture standards and guidelines.

Required

0 to 2 years of experience as an Architect or experienced working as a Lead Developer and wants to transition into architecture

Web based JavaScript front end development experience

PWA (progressive web apps) & SPA (single page application)

OAuth (Open Authentication) & OIDC (OpenID Connect) protocol experience

Must be able to work hands on at least 20% of the time

Experience with PWA and SPA application architectures

Level III Minimum 6 to 10 years experience designing or configuring software applications

Level IV Minimum 10+ years experience designing or configuring software applications.

Plus

Web service work experience

Experience with React and/or Angular JavaScript frameworks

Mobile development experience (this will be something the team will need to work on in the future)
