Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Alexandria, Louisiana. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 08/03/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: Telemetry Nurse Alexandria, Louisiana. This position involves providing specialized care to cardiac and telemetry patients in a facility setting. The role requires a qualified nurse capable of working independently, managing complex patient needs, and adhering to established clinical protocols. Job Details: Schedule: Nightshift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing; 1 year of experience in telemetry or related nursing specialty preferred; BLS certification from AHA required; ACLS certification from AHA required; RN License in the state of Louisiana or a valid compact license. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in telemetry or cardiac nursing. Float: Float rotation may be required. Additional Information: All newly hired experienced RNs must attend a New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire. New hires will be precepted by trained staff and must complete competency validations specific to medical-surgical and telemetry nursing. Ongoing competency verification is required.
