Procurement Associate

Mobile Networks, which includes mobile network products, network deployment and technical support services, and related network management. This business group will offer the full portfolio for customers wanting to buy mobile access networks. It targets leadership in key technologies such as 5G, ORAN and vRAN.

Procurement associates with ability to define and specify procurement requirements, selecting and contracting suppliers, maintaining the relationship to a supplier, and managing the lifecycle; including supplier performance, risk, and phase-out for all suppliers for direct material, services, and indirect material. The Project Procurement Manager manages procurement related topics. Defines develops and maintains the Country and Project Procurement Plans, based on strategy definitions. Coordinate all procurement related activities and drives local supplier in alignment with the market procurement strategy and category strategy.

Job Responsibilities & Competencies

  • Responsible for 3rd party supplier procurement for Customer projects from bid phase until project closing. Responsible for project supplier selection, negotiations and contracting for the agreed category areas, in agreement with and support of Category Manager or Strategic Market Procurement Manager. Prepares supplier contracts and coordination with BG Category Management, customer team, Legal, F&C, Services Business Line and Global Procurement for getting approval. Ensures that activities meet all relevant regulations and legal requirements including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX). Checks availability of Frame Agreements and Project Agreements with Supplier Contract Manager and renegotiates respectively with suppliers. Provides input and contributes to respective Category Managers and Strategic Market Procurement Managers on supplier performance and developing strategy. Has responsibility for stakeholder management. Acts as a professional leader for staff / workteam / taskforces, often the most senior specialist in a team, who serves as best practice resource within own organizational unit and / or is recognized as an expert within the same professional area in the business. Often leads functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk and complexity, handles day-to-day staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work.

Qualifications

Experienced professional with a minimum of 8 years of relevant procurement and/or logistics experience Deployment of relevant telecom rollout projects Service procurement experience Proven track record of supplier relationship management Business Insight Customer Focus Source to Contract Decision Quality Instills Trust Interpersonal Savvy Contract Management Cost Management Project Management Nokia Portfolio Partner and Ecosystem Management Analytics Negotiating Supplier Relationship Management and Development Procurement Tools and Processes
