Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Honolulu, Hawaii. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 08/03/2026 Duration: 16 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position available at a healthcare organization located in Honolulu, Hawaii. The role involves providing specialized patient care in a Medical ICU setting, requiring a minimum of two years of recent full-time experience in a similar high-acuity environment. The position offers a rotating shift schedule with a minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 07/06/2026. The ideal candidate must hold an active, unencumbered Hawaii RN license and meet all necessary certifications. The role may involve floating to other ICU, Stepdown, or Telemetry units based on facility needs. Job Details: Location: 1301 Punchbowl Street, Honolulu, HI 96813 Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Medical (ICU Medical) Shift Hours: Rotating, 12-hour shifts Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours Start Date: 07/06/2026 Required Qualifications: Active, unencumbered Hawaii Registered Nurse license required Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred Current BLS/HCP, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Specialty certification(s) highly desired (e.g., CCRN) Must pass EKG exam with 80% or better during orientation Two (2) or more years of full-time staff RN experience in a Medical ICU at a Level I Trauma Center prior to any travel assignments required Preferred Qualifications: Experience working at a Level I Trauma teaching hospital CRRT experience highly desired Previous experience as a Queen's Health System traveler preferred Additional Information: Compliance must be completed 10 days prior to the start date; failure to submit on time may result in assignment delay or cancellation Must include a current NURSYS report with submission If not needed on the primary unit, the professional will be assigned to be a nursing assistant or safety sitter, which is expected Float to ICU, Stepdown, and Telemetry based on facility needs All certifications and licenses must be valid through the contract period Benefits: The benefits of taking a travel assignment with Cross Country include: Private housing or generous housing allowance Comprehensive health insurance with prescription coverage Dependent health insurance with prescription coverage Competitive salaries Referral bonuses Travel reimbursement 401(k) retirement plan Direct deposit/free checking Unlimited free CE credits Cross Country Job ID 1272844.
