OverviewLicensed Mental Health Clinician-ACTAt River Edge Behavioral Health in Macon, GA, employees are expected to develop meaningful relationships with patients, establishing trust and making a difference in the lives of clients and their families. Population targeted is individuals who have serious and persistent mental illness and most have a co-occurring diagnosis of substance abuse. These are individuals who do not and will not come into the clinic setting for traditional treatment. The ACT Team takes the treatment services to them in their homes, shelters, sidewalks, etc. ACT is available 24 hours/7 days a week to individuals through on-call rotation among ACT team members. Services will be provided after-hours and at weekends. Services provided to Baldwin and Bibb counties.River Edge is presently seeking a Licensed or Associate Licensed professional, including those in the fields of Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Professional Counseling, to fill the role of Assistant Lead for our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team. In this position, you will play a crucial role in supporting and assisting the Lead in the effective operation of the ACT Team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality mental health services. If you are a licensed or associate licensed professional looking to contribute to a dynamic mental health team, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position at River Edge.ResponsibilitiesConduct confidential behavioral health assessments to determine the appropriate level of care for clients in the permanent supportive housing units.Elicit client participation in the development of a solution-focused treatment plan to address important goals, objectives, and interventions.Participate in Individual counseling, Group counseling.Complete collaborative documentation.Identifies and provides intervention for potential crisis situations.Attend staff meetings, case conferences, and training programs as designed.Attend clinical supervision to increase skills and knowledge.Maintain quality, up-to-date clinical records, including case notes, treatment plan reviews, discharge planning, and Outcomes.Maintain working knowledge of treatment agencies and programs and a list of resources that can be shared with clients.QualificationsLicensed in either - LAPC, LMSW, LAMFT, LMFT, LPC, LCSWMaster's degree in social service field (Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Human Services) or related fieldAt least one (1) year of postmaster's experience providing mental health and substance abuse treatment.
