Our team is passionate about supporting individuals on their journey to recovery, particularly those struggling with eating disorders. We create a supportive and inclusive environment that fosters healing and growth.Position Overview:We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Eating Disorder Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in treating individuals with a variety of eating disorders, including anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, and ARFID. You will play a crucial role in helping clients develop healthier relationships with food and their bodies through evidence-based therapeutic techniques.Key Responsibilities:Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients.Provide one-on-one therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).Facilitate group therapy sessions focused on eating disorder recovery, body image, and emotional regulation.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including dietitians, medical professionals, and support staff, to ensure holistic care.Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in accordance with company policies and ethical standards.Stay current with developments in the field of eating disorders and participate in ongoing professional development.Provide support and resources for families and loved ones of clients.Maintain a caseload of 25 patients per weekQualifications:Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.Licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent)in Texas is required.Minimum of 2 years of experience working with individuals with eating disorders.Strong understanding of evidence-based treatment modalities for eating disorders.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Empathy, patience, and a non-judgmental approach to therapy.What We Offer:Competitive hourly pay + commission on self-pay and insurance reimbursementPaid administrative time for documentation and consultationFlexible schedulingFree CEUs & ongoing trainingA fun, supportive, clinician-centered culture that values work-life balanceAdditional Full-Time Employee BenefitsEllie Mental Health Mid-Cities is an equal opportunity employer.
