Job Overview Merrill Wealth Management, part of Bank of America, offers the Merrill Advisor Development Program for aspiring Financial Advisors.Key Responsibilities Work with high‑net‑worth individuals to identify needs, develop relationships, and review financial goals.Develop a book of business, sourcing prospective clients, capitalizing on referrals, and executing highly customized solutions.Recommend investment products and services suitable for prospects based on objectives, resources, risk profile, and preferences.Balance portfolio growth, referral activities, client follow‑up, prospect building, administrative compliance, and personal development.Organize resources such as time, people, and budget to run a productive practice.Complete mandated training, assessments, performance goals, and continuing education requirements.Document all client interactions and opportunities within Salesforce accurately.Required Qualifications Current Series 7 and Series 66 licenses (or Series 63 and 65 in lieu of 66).At least one year of experience in the financial services or sales environment with documented performance.At least one year of experience in the investments industry, with in‑depth knowledge of investment products and services.Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and relationship‑building skills.Capacity to assess needs, recommend solutions, and build trust and credibility.Proven collaboration with partners and ability to listen and probe for clarity.Goal‑oriented with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong follow‑through.Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.Desired Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.Experience with new technology and multitasking abilities.Skills Business acumen, business development, oral communications, prospecting, wealth planning, analytical thinking, client experience, branding, client investments, management, portfolio analysis, risk management, active listening, advisory, emotional intelligence, referral management, trading.Training & Support World‑class training and onboarding programs.One‑on‑one coaching from the Academy and local leadership.Learning a consultative approach to identify client needs and appropriate solutions.Presenting comprehensive advice confidently.Collaboration with core banking and investment partners.Access to all solutions through Bank of America and Merrill.Additional Information Position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements.Shift: 1st shift (United States of America).Hours per week: 40.Location: 601 W Riverside Ave, Spokane, WA 2141.Salary: $80,000–$90,000 annualized; plus a formulaic incentive plan.Benefits: Industry‑leading benefits and paid time off.EEO Statement Bank of America is an equal opportunity employer.
