POSITION OVERVIEWAn Electric Shop Engineer is responsible for administering repairs and improvements to an already great property. Attention to detail and ability to contribute to a diverse team will ensure the functionality of our resort and the safety and satisfaction of every guest.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:Respond to maintenance requests in a timely mannerPerform mechanical, groundskeeping, and interior and exterior maintenance for the resortIntimate knowledge of electrical troubleshooting proceduresWorking knowledge of all electrical codesUse the appropriate meters to facilitate repairs on electronic equipmentEnsure accurate record keepingUse proper safety procedures for high and low voltageTroubleshoot complex electronic problems and develop creative solutionsInterface with tenants regarding their maintenance and housekeeping needsFollow schedules for repairs and preventive maintenanceAbility to handle independent work responsibility and judgmentPhysical ability to access all areas of the property including Gaming locationsHandle multiple tasks and work a variety of shifts necessary to complete assigned projectsImmediately notify the department leader of any changes to the Nevada Driver's License statusWork closely with other departments on projects and tasksTemporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessaryQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
