Position Highlights Radiology Technologist – Ambulatory – Plattsmouth Health Center. First Shift, Monday‑Friday, 7:45AM–5:15PM, 40 hours per week. Full‑time and benefits eligible.Job Expectations Complete ordered x‑rays and image studies within the clinic.Room patients for provider encounters.Administer injections, oral medications, vaccines, and draw laboratory specimens.Coordinate referral appointments and document clinical tasks.Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other hospital staff to provide high‑quality patient care.Qualifications Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in radiology.Current or ability to obtain American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in all practice specialty areas within one year of hire.Licensed in the state of Nebraska.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification endorsed by the American Heart Association (AHA).Medication Aide Registry listing if required to administer medications, obtained within the first 30 days of hire.Effective communication skills.Preferred Qualifications Experience in diagnostic radiology procedures.Experience in a physician's office.Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant Program.Ability to manage and interact with patients and families of all age groups.Experience with multi‑dimensional medical imaging systems, patient transportation devices, and radiology information system (RIS) and picture archiving and communication system (PACS).Medical assistant certification.Benefits Bursies include:Tuition assistance up to $5,000 per year (lifetime max $20,000).35% tuition discount at Clarkson College for employees, spouses, and dependents.Career pathing opportunities with covered education costs.Relocation package: $3,000 for adjoining states, $4,500 for non‑adjoining states.Contact Information For questions about this role, contact rshinde@nebraskamed.com.Equal Employment Opportunity Statement Nebraska Medicine is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
