Join our global team of 19,000 people in 45 countries, and start helping our customers push the limits of what's possible in their world of motion.Position SummaryThe purpose of this position is to provide engineering specific, commercial and technical support including design, production, troubleshooting and upgrade implementations.This position will also provide support related to root cause failure analysis, technical reports, design upgrades including engineered drawings, process documentation, and overall professional technical support for the plant. This position will report to the Plant Manager.ResponsibilitiesProvide commercial and technical support throughout the lifecycle of motor and generator projects, including design, production, testing, troubleshooting, and upgrade implementations.Lead failure mode analyses and reverse engineering efforts for motor and generator components, delivering corrective action recommendations.Develop detailed CAD drawings and specifications for motor and generator upgrades and re-designs.Create and maintain process documentation, including job travelers and test paperwork, to support assembly, repair, and quality assurance operations.Collaborate closely with production, quality, sales, customer service, and supply chain teams to ensure projects meet quality standards, on-time delivery, and budget objectives.Oversee tooling design and specify manufacturing and testing equipment required for motor and generator overhauls, rewinds, and redesigns.Interface with customers for technical clarifications, quotations, and project status updates.Support global engineering efforts and share best practices across the Timken network.SkillsProficient communication skills (oral & written)Fundamental electric motor knowledgeFundamental knowledge of workplace safetyProficiency with CAD software (Autodesk, Solidworks)Proficiency in Technical MathematicsBasic QualificationsBachelor in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical EngineeringMinimum of 2 years of Engineering experienceMinimum 1 year of Design/Manufacturing Engineering experience2 years of Electric Motor experience (preferred)Course completion in & proficiency with CAD software (Autodesk, SolidWorks)Course completion in & proficiency in Technical MathematicsProficient communication skills (oral & written)Fundamental knowledge of workplace safetyValid driver's licenseWillingness to travelWillingness to continue education through training classes / seminarsLocation: Pasco, WAJob Type: Full-TimePay Range: $70,000-$110,000 (commensurate with experience and education)What We OfferCompetitive PayComprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental and vision coverage.Benefits start on first day of employment.401(k) retirement savings plan with generous company match.Paid parental leave at one year of service.Employee discounts on products and services.Education expense reimbursement, eligible to apply at first day of employment.Opportunities for professional development and career growth.All qualified applicants shall be treated equally according to their individual qualifications, abilities, experiences and other employment standards.
