The University of Southern California (USC) is searching for a Physician Assistant to join the Department of Urology at USC Arcadia Hospital within the USC Institute of Urology Clinic.Responsibilities Obtain detailed and accurate medical histories from patients to delineate problems and record information.Develop and implement patient management plans, including coordination of referrals to specialty and social services.Record progress notes and provide continuity of care as part of the clinical instructor (clinician educator) physician assistant role.Perform and interpret common laboratory, radiological, and other routine diagnostic procedures used to identify pathophysiological progress.Assist urology doctors in various urologic procedures.Qualifications Minimum education: Bachelor's degree in a health professions field.Minimum certification: National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant (NCCPA) issued Physician Assistant certification.Minimum experience: 1 year of related work experience (combined experience/education may substitute).Current California license for Physician Assistant.Directly related experience in the urology field.Preferred education: Master's degree.Compensation The yearly base salary range for this position is $152,880 - $194,022.Equal Employment Opportunity The University of Southern California strongly values diversity and is committed to equal opportunity in employment.
