This person is responsible for all the performance evaluations, staffing, payroll, behavioral and clinical issues, as well as works on quality improvement opportunities for these teams. This applicant also works clinically to maintain their clinical knowledge and maintain competency in their specialty.Job QualificationsSuccessful completion of a Master's Degree or higher in an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with a specialty in Pediatrics,Acute Care or Pediatric Primary Care or NNP-RequiredCA NP, NPF, and CA RN license - RequiredNPI #, DEA # - RequiredNational Certification in Nurse Practitioner Specialty - RequiredBLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross - RequiredPALS certification from American Heart Association - Required5 years PICU, NICU, and/or Pediatric CT ICU NP experience - Required3 years experience as APP Supervisor- PreferredAs a condition of employment, the final candidate who accepts an offer of employment will be required to disclose if they have been subject to any final administrative or judicial decisions within the last seven years determining that they committed any misconduct; or have filed an appeal of a finding of substantiated misconduct with a previous employer.
