Switchboard/Registrar

Looking for a part time job with a flexible schedule? We are looking for someone to fill in for vacations and occasional vacancies in our Switchboard/Registration Department. Whether you are a college student - wanting to work around your school schedule or retired and wanting to pick up occasional shifts, let's talk and see if this position is right for you!

Status: PRN (as needed); Variable Schedule

The Registrar/Switchboard Operator is responsible for customer service, registration of all ancillary departments and answering a multi-line phone.

• Answers multi line phone and greets visitors for IMH
• Page, transfer calls & announce codes
• Registers Patients

Education/Experience Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required, plus one year of office/clerical support or experience working with the public.

The hospital operates rural health clinics in Watseka, IL, Gilman, IL, Milford, IL, Saint Anne, IL and Kentland, IN. The hospital also operates a skilled nursing facility, Iroquois Resident Home, which is attached to the hospital property.
