Position SummaryNecco has an opportunity for a career as an Intensive Home-Based Treatment (IHBT) Therapist . In this role, you will deliver intensive home-based treatment services to youth facing significant emotional and behavioral challenges. Your primary focus will be empowering youth and caregivers to develop robust coping mechanisms, preventing the need for out-of-home placement, or aiding in a seamless transition back home from a more intensive care setting.Intensive Home-Based Treatment Services & Case Load ManagementDeliver behavioral health services by assessing clients' therapeutic needs and strengths, establishing therapeutic relationships, and employing interventions to enhance overall functioningAct as a central point of contact for families, agencies, and court, maintaining communication within Necco's confidentiality policies and procedures regarding clients' performancesTake on the role of clinical lead for cases, developing, writing, and coordinating individual treatment plans. Responsibilities encompass reviewing external materials, discussing client progress with staff, revising plans for optimal care, monitoring plan compliance, participating in team meetings, and attending group meetings to discuss treatmentImplement best practice treatment models to ensure effective intervention strategies and Individual and Family Therapies, Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS), and/or community psychiatric supportive treatment, tailoring interventions to meet client requirementsConsult with parents/caregivers, school personnel, probation officers, or other treatment team members to address client's diagnosis, progress and barriers as needed.Maintain prior authorizations for each client (if applicable)Delivers services to clients across multiple environments, including in-home and community-based settings, and is required to transport clients as needed and travel between locations as essential functions of the positionCaseload Management And ProductivityMaintain caseload of no less than 3- IHBT clients but not to exceed 6-IHBT clients at any given timeDrive the treatment planning process from intake to discharge based on client diagnosis and needMeets social impact expectationsMaintain complete and accurate client records per regulationsEnsure treatment goals are tied to IHBT outcomesDocumentationTimely submission of all documentation within three calendar days of service deliveryAdherence to Ohio Medicaid documentation standards to ensure the integrity of all documentationSustain ongoing compliance with client clinical chart requirementsMeet Necco standards and productivity through comprehensive documentation, including assessments, progress notes, reports, and Individual Service PlansCorporate CitizenPractice ruthless pragmatismEngage in peer-to-peer feedbackKnow and live the Necco Corporate Culture PrinciplesEmbody the three essential virtues: humble, hungry, and smartDrive your individual performance scorecard resultsAdhere to and contribute to the Necco meeting structurePosition QualificationsBachelor Degree in Social Work (LSW), or Masters Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy with at least dependent license (LSW, LPC, or LMFT)Hold a current Certified CANS Assessor credential or is able and willing to become a Certified CANS AssessorDemonstrate the ability to visit clients' homes, recognizing that accessibility may varyLimited Liability Auto Insurance Coverage of 100/300/100Work effectively with culturally diverse populations and familiesFulfill additional duties as requiredValid driver's license with the ability to drive during day and nightReliable transportationSuccessful completion of all criminal and background checksMust possess the skills to navigate and execute software programs used by Necco (i.e. Microsoft Office, Electronic Health record, and Dashboard)At Necco, we value diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive and equitable work environment.
