OverviewCatholic Community Services, Family Behavioral Health is seeking a Mental Health Therapist (internal title: FBH Clinician III) to join our team in the greater Portland area. The role focuses on providing family‑oriented, strength‑based mental health services in clients' homes and community settings.Our organization values compassion, diversity, and a strengths‑based approach. We provide individualized, evidence‑based services primarily in the home and community, supporting families to remain safely in their homes.ResponsibilitiesProvide family‑oriented, strength‑based mental health services for children and families in their own homes and community settings.Participate in an on‑call rotation with other clinicians and clinical care coordinators.Schedule flexible hours to meet the needs of youth and families, providing services in community‑based settings and family homes.QualificationsMaster's degree in Behavioral Sciences or an equivalent accredited degree.Passion for helping families stay together and an energetic, innovative style to engage children, youth and family members.Enthusiastic and optimistic approach encouraging ongoing participation of all involved.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Demonstrate attitudes, knowledge, and skills to deliver culturally competent services in multi‑cultural settings.Ability to visually assess safety in the community and family homes.Ability to meet clients and colleagues in homes and community locations.For clinicians serving the Burien Youth and Families, bi‑lingual fluency in Spanish and English is required.Preference for a flexible schedule over a traditional 8‑5, Monday‑to‑Friday facility‑based position.Must participate in on‑call rotation responsibilities.Must successfully pass required background clearances before offer of employment.Valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and reliable transportation with an acceptable driving record as per CCS policy.Support and uphold the mission, beliefs and values of Catholic Community Services and Catholic Housing Services.Compensation and BenefitsStarting salary range: $86,611.20 – $96,345.60 per year.Additional pay: after‑hours coverage $1,800 per year; performance‑based pay up to $8,000 per year; licensure pay $250 per pay period (twice a month); bilingual language stipend $100–200 per pay period, tiered by proficiency.Benefits: 12 paid holidays plus one personal holiday per year; 3 weeks vacation per year; 12 sick days per year; medical, dental, and vision insurance; life insurance equal to one annual salary; 403‑B employee savings plan and employer contribution pension.Training and SupervisionExtensive training in multiple clinical approaches and related areas.Daily and weekly supervision with immediate assistance and clinical supervision/consultation available at any time.EEO StatementCatholic Community Services and Catholic Housing Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
