Validation/Emulation EngineerLocation: Austin, TexasExperience: 5-7 yearsEducation: Bachelor's degreeAdditional Requirements: Relocation assistance, bonus, occasional travelJob Description Responsibilities include:Develop and execute emulation and validation test plans for new productsDevelop scalable lab validation infrastructure, including scripts and hardware setupsDesign and debug emulation system hardwareSet up and maintain software tool flows supporting RTL synthesis to FPGADefine and execute experiments to support product designDebug and troubleshoot lab setup issuesQualifications Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 5 to 10 years of validation engineering experienceExtensive experience verifying digital and analog circuits and system performanceStrong ability to architect lab validation environments, including test bench setups and software environmentsExcellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills, along with project leadership capabilitiesUnderstanding of silicon, board hardware, and software interactions, including customer usage modelsPCB design skills for high-performance analog and digital circuits; FPGA integration and serial communication buses experience is highly desiredExperience creating or maintaining RTL images for emulation; Verilog development is highly desiredAbility to develop statements of work for experiments and develop test solutions accordinglyProficiency with oscilloscopes, multi-meters, frequency domain signal analyzers, and analog test equipmentExperience with scripting languages such as Perl and/or Matlab is highly desiredBasic skills in statistical analysisAdditional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.Direct Staffing Inc#J-18808-Ljbffr
