AccountantThe role To support our growing activities, we are looking to grow the team with a full time experienced Accountant who will help us keep track of the financial operations of our US entity. The position reports to the Director of Finance and the role is based out of our Santa Clarita, CA office. We have the dream job for you, with the dynamics of a small agile team and the support of a worldwide presence.Your responsibilities You will support the company's financial operations in many aspects:Maintain financial records and assist with month-end closing tasksAssist with sales tax filings in accordance with related laws and regulations and AVALARA systemCollect, analyse and report financial dataAssist auditing tasksOrganize completeness and accuracy of Master dataCommunicate with customers on payment or invoice-related inquiries as neededAdvise best practices and optimizations throughout accounting processes (incl. digitalization)Perform day-to-day accounting activities such as preparing journal entries and reconciling bank statements and general ledger accountsGenerate, analyze and maintain AR aging reportsProcess AP invoices and ensure timely payments via ACH & online portalsReconcile credit card transactions and expense reports via SAP ConcurEnsure smooth financial operations while supporting other departmentsWhat you bring to the table University Degree in accounting/financeUnderstanding of financial processesMinimum 5 years' experience working in an accounting position or in auditing in a Big 4 CompanyStrong attention to detailStrong analytical skillsExcellent written and verbal communications skillsInterest towards automatizationAbility to focus on spreadsheets, data system and figures for a long period of timeHaving dealt with confidential dataTime management and organizational skillsKnowledge of relevant tax laws in accordance with the Bureau of Labour StatisticsBe able to show initiative as much as working autonomouslyExperience working with ERPs (incl.
