OverviewHTI Contractors Division, of the H&K Group, Inc. is looking for a Project Engineer to support public and private projects! The Project Secretary provides administrative and operational support to project managers and the entire team to ensure smooth project coordination, documentation management, communication, and other aspects of the operations.Competitive salary commensurate with experience100% Company-paid Health Benefits401(k) Savings and Investment PlanCompany vehicle after 90-day probationary periodTuition reimbursement programs available to qualifying employees for approved programsAdditional training programs including on the job, online through H&K Academy, manufacturer offered training, and moreResponsibilitiesEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist the Project Manager and team with scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating travel arrangements, accommodations, and transportation for project staff and external consultants.Maintain proper filing systems, document control and version tracking for all project-related materials, including meeting minutes, correspondence, and reports.Arrange project meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items and deadlines.Handle project-related emails, phone calls, and correspondence, ensuring timely and professional responses.Provide guidance on project lifecycle processes, operating procedures, and practices, supporting team members in administrative and operational tasks.Assist in compiling project brochures, presentations, and other materials; perform data entry, printing, and filing; and cover other tasks as assigned by management.QualificationsRequired Skills, Education, and ExperienceAssociate's degree or equivalent from a two-year collegeA combination of education and experience may be consideredDriver's license and clean driving recordEffective verbal and written communicationProficient computer skills including internet and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and specialized project softwareAbility to fit test & utilize appropriate PPE as neededAbility to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to job)Preferred Skills, Education, and ExperienceBachelor's degree in relevant field from an accredited four-year college or universityTen years of experience in Heavy Civil Constriction relevant to this regionCertified PEOSHA and/or other applicable safety certifications and trainingPhysical DemandsRegularly required to:SitUse hands to find, handle or feelTalk or hearOccasionally required to:Stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawlReach with hands and armsLift and/or move up to 10 poundsSpecific vision abilities:CloseColorAbility to adjust focusWork EnvironmentRegularly required to driveOccasionally exposed to outside weather conditionsNoise level is usually moderateRegularly exceeds 40 hours/weekPre-employment drug testing (EOE)100% Company-Paid Health Benefits!H&K Group, Inc. does not discriminate in employment opportunities or practices on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, disability, veterans' status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
