At Hazel Health, we make mental health care accessible to K–12 students through virtual care delivered in partnership with schools and health plans.Many of the students we serve are receiving support for the first time—giving clinicians the opportunity to make a meaningful impact early.A Flexible Way to Earn Additional IncomeThis role is designed to fit alongside your existing work , not replace it.Whether you're:Building a private practiceWorking a full‑time roleLooking to supplement your incomeHazel offers a predictable, low‑friction way to add consistent earnings —without needing to find your own clients or manage a business.How This Role Fits Your LifeFlexible Scheduling Within Peak HoursSessions take place during Washington peak hours: Monday–Friday, 9am–6pm PTThese hours define when sessions can occur—and does not mean you need to be available all dayYou choose your schedule within that window based on your availabilityFor example:See 2 clients per day, Monday–FridayOr 5 clients across 2 daysWork 9am–12pm or 12pm–3pm —whatever fits your scheduleAs long as sessions fall within peak hours and you meet the 10‑client minimum , your schedule is fully customizable.Start with 10 Clients — Scale Up or DownMinimum: 10 clients per weekOption to increase your caseload up to 29 clients/weekYou can:Take on more clients when you want additional incomeThen scale back down to 10 when your availability changesNo long‑term commitment to a higher caseload.We Help You Get StartedWe support initial scheduling and caseload building , so you're not responsible for filling your calendar from scratch.W2 Role = Simpler, More StableTaxes handled for you (no 1099 complexity)Paid consistently for sessions + eligible admin timeMalpractice coverage includedWhat You'll DoSupport children and families through virtual therapy sessionsHelp students navigate challenges like anxiety, behavior, and school‑related stressCollaborate with caregivers (and when appropriate, schools) to support progressDocument care and track outcomes through our platformWhat We're Looking ForIndependently licensed in Washington (LMFT, LICSW, LMHC, or equivalent)Experience working with children and familiesComfortable delivering care virtuallyCompensation$80 per completed sessionPaid for all completed sessions (even if sessions end early)Additional admin time compensated at $20/hourBenefits12 company holidaysAccrued sick time401(k) programEAPMalpractice insuranceWhy Clinicians Use HazelHazel is a reliable way to earn additional income, stay clinically engaged, and support children—without taking on the burden of building or managing a practice.Licensing & Location RequirementsCandidates must maintain an active license in the state where services are provided. This role may be performed from the following states: AL, AZ, AR, CA, CO, DC, FL, GA, HI, IL, IN, IA, KY, LA, MD, MA, MN, MS, MO, MT, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OR, RI, SC, TN, TX, UT, PA, VA, WA.Applicants must reside in (or relocate to) one of these states prior to employment.
