Job Overview – Senior Accountant (Investment Management)Compensation: $100,000 – $125,000/year + bonusLocation: Stamford, CTSchedule: Monday to Friday (In-Office)Atlantic Group is hiring a Senior Accountant (Investment Management) in Stamford, CT for our client, supporting corporate accounting, financial reporting, and portfolio operations within an investment environment. In this role, you will maintain financial records across multiple entities, support M&A and due diligence activities, and assist with budgeting and forecasting. The ideal candidate will leverage advanced Excel and accounting systems to ensure accuracy while partnering with internal teams on financial and operational initiatives.Responsibilities as the Senior Accountant (Investment Management):Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements while maintaining accurate books and records.Month-End Close: Support monthly and year-end close, including reconciliations and journal entries.Accounts Management: Manage accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate transactions.Portfolio Support: Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for portfolio companies.Process Improvement: Support development of accounting policies, controls, and reporting processes.Qualifications for the Senior Accountant (Investment Management):Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.Certification: CPA required.Experience: 3–6 years of accounting experience, including public accounting or a mix of public and private experience with demonstrated progression, is required.Industry Knowledge: Exposure to financial services, investment environments, or transaction advisory work is preferred.Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting systems and financial reporting tools is required.Skills & Attributes: Demonstrates strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Application Notice:Qualified candidates will be contacted within 2 business days of application.
