Overview Growing National Law firm has a Sr Attorney Opening in South Carolina. This is a remote position with a full benefits package. The Supervising Attorney is responsible for managing the attorneys and employees of the Michigan Division of the firm, whose primary clients are mortgage lenders and servicers, banks, and other mortgage investors throughout the region.Responsibilities Must attend mediations, trials, and hearings, and other duties as assignedMust be accountable for legal, risk mitigation and cost control while remaining compliant with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) and the Office of Comptroller of the Currency (OCC)Must collaborate with executive management, senior leadership, and team members throughout the firm, including Bankruptcy, Litigation, Title, REO, Human Resources, Accounting, and IT Departments, to ensure operational and legal complianceMust manage Attorneys and ParalegalsMust develop departmental policies, procedures and goalsMust be willing and able to travel on an as needed basisMust be able to work well with all members of the groupMust be willing and able to write articles and make presentations to clients, trade associationsMust be willing and able to participate in marketing initiatives / business developmentAbility to manage and prioritize multiple projects and casesAssist with other duties and special projects as neededJob Requirements JD from accredited law schoolLicensed in SCMinimum of four years of litigation/courtroom experience and default management (foreclosure, title, bankruptcy, evictions and REO)Member of the state Bar while maintaining all necessary licensing and continuing legal education requirementsSubject matter expert in their fieldExperience managing employees and P&L responsibility#J-18808-Ljbffr
