Mental Health Therapist / LPC, LPC-A or LCSW – Full-Time or Part-TimeRole and ResponsibilitiesWe are looking to hire a kind, caring, compassionate, empathic, professional, and team oriented Licensed Counselor or Social Worker who works from a psychoanalytic and/or psychodynamic style to join our group of diverse yet like-minded practitioners. Applicants will be responsible for providing the following…Provide intake evaluations for counseling services, assessments, short-term personal counseling, crisis intervention, substance abuse assessments and treatment.Delivering therapeutic intervention utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing and Relapse Prevention, as appropriate.Providing individual, family and couples evidence-based psychotherapies primarily in an outpatient setting in-person and via telemedicine.Coordinate care and effectively communicate treatment and treatment plans with collaborating healthcare providers and conduct brief assessments and at times assist in coordinating behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment.QualificationsTherapists must be fully licensed by State Board to provide therapy independently and without supervision (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, PsyD or similar credentials)0-2 years of experience in behavioral health, preferably in an outpatient settingDesire to provide compassionate, evidenced-based care that aligns with our missionAptitude for science backed decision making and use proper judgment with confidential and sensitive issuesPsychoeducation for patients and their support systemsFacilitate group classes focused on a variety of lifestyle interventionsHigh integrity and sound judgement; able to react quickly and make effective decisionsMotivational Interviewing to develop behavioral strategies aimed at symptom reductionBrief problem-solving cognitive intervention aimed at modifying negative thinking and promotion self-efficacySelf-care plan development and skills training to facilitate disease self-management, improved coping, distress tolerance, stress reduction, and relaxation; andSubstance use/ abuse evaluation, identification of maladaptive coping strategies, and development of harm reduction strategiesCoordination of Care - Provide consultation to and coordinate care of patients with health center primary care staffEmpathetic & intuitive listenerRapport building on a virtual platform and face to faceComfortable providing counseling for anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and ADHDMust be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis (We are not able to sponsor work visas at this time)Full front desk staff with-in house scheduling with a quick filling caseloadCompetitive payAmazing team culture and clinical support#J-18808-Ljbffr
