If you're energized by momentum, motivated by results, and excited to shape the future of banking, you'll feel right at home here.General Job Summary:The Mortgage Banker is responsible for evaluating, processing, and closing mortgage loan applications, as well as providing excellent customer service and building relationships with clients. Success for this role will be achieved by helping clients realize and meet their financial goals by responsibly advising them throughout the mortgage loan process, from application to closing. The Mortgage Banker will identify client needs, meet loan production goals, and work to ensure the company's expectations for customer satisfaction are achieved.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Work with clients to understand their financial situation and goalsEducate clients about various mortgage options and recommend appropriate productsAssist clients in completing mortgage applications. Collect and review all necessary loan documentationAssess the client's credit history and financial statusSubmit completed loan applications to underwriting, both internally and through third party correspondentsBuild and maintain strong relationships with real estate agents, referral partners, including internal team membersStay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practicesEnsure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policiesProvide exceptional customer service throughout the mortgage process and beyondOther duties as assigned.Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Strong communication, negotiation, interpersonal, verbal and written skillsCustomer-focused with a proven track record of driving results in a sales-oriented environmentAbility to work independently and as part of a teamEducation and Experience:3+ years of experience as a Mortgage Banker2+ years of experience with FHA, FNMA, FHLMC, and/or VA loansStrong knowledge of mortgage products, underwriting guidelines, legal regulations, and loan origination processesAbility to make sound mortgage recommendations based on research, personal expertise, and customers' financial backgroundsComplete understanding of agency, government, and investor requirementsProficient in loan origination systems (LOS) and Microsoft Office SuiteRelevant certifications or licenses (e.g., NMLS)What it's like working with usExcellenceWe are obsessed with our customer's experience and hold ourselves to impeccable standards.TenacityWe are creative problem solvers committed to finding a solution to meet our customers' needs.CollaborationWe strive to build lasting, long-term partnerships with our customers.
