The Sonographer position also requires a strong commitment to patient care, technical expertise, and collaborative communication with patients and healthcare professionals to provide optimal care.Position DetailsSign-On-Bonus incentive included up to $10,000Mercy Hospital St. Louis - Ultrasound615 S New Ballas Rd, Saint Louis, MO 63141ELIGIBILITY FOR INPATIENT SHIFT DIFFERENTIALEducationGraduate of an accredited school of Sonography and completed required clinical hours.ExperienceOne (1) year of relevant experience.LicenseState licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.Certifications/RegistrationsARDMS/ARRT/CCI and 2 applicable advanced registries/certifications within the applicable work area; Basic Life Support (BLS).In the state of Arkansas, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography-Registered Vascular Technologist (ARDMS-RVT), OR Cardiovascular Credentialing International- Registered Vascular Specialist (CCI-RVS) OR American Registry of Radiologic Technologists-Vascular Sonography (ARRT-VS) is required.Preferred QualificationsKnowledge of protocols and ability to make adjustments as needed.Knowledge of safe & proper machine operation.Knowledge of machine emergency procedures and radiation safety procedures.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.Physical RequirementsPosition requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.Career Ladder OpportunitiesAdvanced SonographerEducation: Graduate of a school of Sonography and completed the required clinical hours.Experience: 2 years of relevant experience.Senior SonographerEducation: Graduate of a school of Sonography and completed the required clinical hours.Experience: 2 years of relevant experience.We Offer Great BenefitsFrom day one, you'll enjoy comprehensive health, vision, and dental coverage, plus paid time off (PTO), tuition reimbursement, and employer-matched retirement funds.
