Overview US TAX SENIOR – Cayman Islands – Big Four – US$60-80,000 – expat package – relocation – 0% tax – HR251Our client is a global accountancy firm and is seeking to hire a US Tax Senior . This is a unique opportunity to be part of a growing team with potential for progression within the firm.Responsibilities Oversee a prestigious portfolio of financial services clients, mainly in Investments (Funds) or Insurance sectorsWork on key client issues in domestic federal, international, and state and local taxation with a focus on implementing tax strategies that align with clients' business objectivesContribute to client satisfaction by providing quality, timely and responsive services and work productsDemonstrate an understanding of complex tax concepts and discuss moderately complex tax issues with engagement team and client managementKeep informed of current tax developments and effectively apply tax knowledge to client situationsAccurately analyse information; prepare practical and effective approaches to clients' tax situations to arrive at appropriate conclusionsShare ideas with others and actively contribute to achieving team goalsAssist in the development of recommendations and implementation plans, and assist in making quality decisions in complex areasManage engagements whilst supervising a small teamDeliver quality service to clients on budget, on time and within resourcesLiaise internally with other key departments within the firmReport to and liaise with Directors and Partners on tax advisory projectsFor the right candidate, there is the possibility of a US Tax Manager opportunityQualifications You must be a fully qualified CPA (US designation only) or at a minimum have Enrolled Agent status to be consideredPossess strong US corporate tax experience already at Senior level, ideally but not necessarily in a Big Four or Top10 accountancy firmExperience of working with financial services clients is desirableGood supervisory, organisational and communication skillsExcellent PC proficiency skillsHow to apply To apply, attach your résumé or include a link to your LinkedIn profileIf you don\'t provide one of the above, we can\'t progress your applicationFor reasons of confidentiality and to ensure best match for positions, our normal practice is to submit applications to employers only after we have had a Career Consultation with candidates.
